| Karen: | Am fost, dar un vechi prieten m-a sunat aseara si m-a invitat la petrecerea de ziua lui. Trebuie sa-i cumpar un cadou.
I did, but an old friend called me last night and invited me to his birthday party. I need to buy a gift for him.

I see. What are you going to get him?

| Karen: | Chiar nu am nici-o idee ce-i place. Nu l-am vazut de mult timp. Ce crezi?
I really have no idea what he likes. I haven`t seen him in a long time. What do you think?

| Karen: | Ei bine, e o idee buna, dar cred ca ar trebui sa ii iau altceva, precum ceva de purtat.
Well, that`s a good idea, but I think I should probably get him something else, like something he can wear.

| Jason: | Ce zici de un pulover? Am vazut unul dragut in mall zilele trecute. Poate mergem acolo sa aruncam o privire.
How about a sweater? I saw a really nice one in the mall the other day. Maybe we can go there and take a look.

| Jason: | Era la Macy. Cred ca au reduceri weekendul acesta.
It was at Macy`s. I think they`re having a sale this weekend.

| Karen: | Aa, este un magazin dragut.Imi plac hainele de acolo.
Oh, that`s a really nice store. I like the clothes there.
